40 jackasses with nothing better to do

March 22nd, 2009 1 Comment »

aig40 Liberal ass-wealth envy hate mongers took a little field trip this past week.  They drove up to Connecticut on a bus to protest outside the homes of AIG executives who received bonuses.

“We think $165 million could be used in a more appropriate way to keep people in their homes, create more jobs and health care,” said Emeline Bravo-Blackport, a gardener.

Well Emeline, I think you should go buy yourself a gun and blow your brains out.  Begging like a homeless person you piece of shit?  I think that all the assholes receiving welfare, medicaid, medicare and social security in this country should come to my place and wipe my ass after I’ve taken a shit.

My question is why would you go up to these people’s homes when the government was the one that “F’d” this up?

Senate Banking committee Chairman Christopher Dodd told CNN Wednesday that he was responsible for language added to the federal stimulus bill to make sure that already-existing contracts for bonuses at companies receiving federal bailout money were honored.

Instead of being mad at AIG, people should be pissed off more at their own government.  First of all, and I’ve said this before, there is no such thing as a company that is “too big to fail.”

Capitalism allows you to file for bankruptcy, reorganize in Chapter 11 and try to make a go of it again. That’s how the system should work. It should not entail us being told to empty our wallets because the Big 3 didn’t make cars that we wanted to buy or because banks were forced by the government into home loan lending to dirtbags that should be renting.

Secondly, government is the one that keeps spending the cash and giving to these banks, auto manufacturers and forcing money into the economy.

Just in case you haven’t read this article from The Moscow Times, but, Russia for the past year has experienced major inflation. The government stubbornly stuck to its inflation target of 10.5 percent, even after it became apparent that galloping growth and government spending would push the figure higher.

Since last fall, however, the government has turned its attention to more pressing issues: billions of dollars to revitalize the financial system, help industry cover their foreign debt and allow for a gradual devaluation of the ruble. Inflation — which is only worsening as the government heads toward deficit spending to rekindle economic growth — is now receiving surprisingly short shrift, economist say, and it is reaching levels that could cause social unrest.

Hmmm…now this sounds quite familiar.  The tsunami inflation will eventually come because our government spends money on stimulus packages, bailouts or does something like they just did last week:

With the country sinking deeper into recession, the Federal Reserve launched a bold $1.2 trillion effort Wednesday to lower rates on mortgages and other consumer debt, spur spending and revive the economy.

To do so, the Fed will spend up to $300 billion to buy long-term government bonds and an additional $750 billion in mortgage-backed securities guaranteed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Yep, printing  more money like Mr. Mugabe in Zimbabwe.  How’s that working out for them?

Some interesting articles to read:

The Fed has decided to pump another trillion dollars into the economy. Guess where that money is coming from? They are creating it out of thin air. Time to get out the WIN buttons.

Chris Dodd actually admitted that he was responsible for adding the bonus loophole into the stimulus package that permitted AIG and other companies that received bailout funds to pay bonuses. That’s not all he’s responsible for.

Will Obama’s anger over these AIG bonuses end up backfiring on him? If the Republicans had their act together (which they don’t), I’d say maybe that is a possibility.

Well that was fast .. Obama will not pursue a proposal that would have allowed the VA to charge private insurance companies for the treatment of veterans. He drove that wreck into the parking lot and it dented way too many fenders.

The Politico has a list of the 5 biggest myths about Obama. Damned racists.

I talked about this on the air yesterday .. but Democrats want to EXPAND the Community Reinvestment Act. Why are credit unions generally healthy today? Because the CRA didn’t apply to them, that’s why. Well … let’s change that.

The White House admits that its cap and trade scheme is going to cost three times the amount they originally cited. Try over a trillion dollars. Global warming - just an excuse for a grand new tax program.

And when it comes to healthcare, guess what? That is going to cost more than the White House planned as well. Try more than double what they were expecting.

Say what you will about George W. Bush, but he says he wants Barack Obama to succeed and that it’s “essential” to support the new leader.

Remember yesterday when I told you about Barack Obama’s teleprompter gaffe? What’s interesting is that there doesn’t seem to be any video of it on the Internet. Hmmm I wonder why that is.

Here’s another news item that should make you feel all warm and fuzzy .. Russia has confirmed that it has a contract with Iran to sell powerful air-defense missiles.

Speaking of Russia. The Kremlin’s idea for a global solution to this financial crisis is to establish an international currency.

Colorado wants to change the way the president is elected in its state. Please tell me they’re going to restrict who can vote. Please. OH? They’re not? I need to stop getting my hopes up like this.

Another issue we have to look forward to this summer .. immigration reform will be back at the top of the agenda.

Could we have yet another potential embarrassing cabinet nomination from Barack Obama? This time it is Commerce Secretary nominee Gary Locke.

This blubberbutt in Omaha is going to be reinstated as a police officer because the court believes he is still maintaining “at least a ‘fair’ level of physical wellness.” You can be the judge.

Texas lawmakers are really worried about the important issues in this world .. like whether or not teenagers can use tanning beds.

Russia experiencing inflation due to government spending

March 18th, 2009 1 Comment »

dollar_sign_melting1Put down your college basketball bracket Mr. Obama and listen up!

To do so, the Fed will spend up to $300 billion to buy long-term government bonds and an additional $750 billion in mortgage-backed securities guaranteed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

What a bunch of assholes!

That’s our god damn money that they are spending!  You’re “Fing” with my money Obama!  And I don’t like it when people “F” with my money!  The only person that should be screwing with my hard earned income is ME!   WTF!  When do “We the people” get to goto Capitol Hill and sit in front of Congress and scream at them and ask them why they are spending $1million on the study of a pigs ass odor?  Or, why did you force these banks into giving home loans to dirtbags for?  But nope, Americans are so dumb.  Americans would rather just sit there and take it in the ass from their own government.

But Americans that are mad about the AIG bonus has to do with the increase of wealth envy in this country. A majority of Americans hate to see people succeed.  Remember, misery loves company.  These Americans need an ass beating beyond belief.  I’m talking an ass beating that puts them into the hostpital.  Whoops, maybe not, because us hardworking Americans that pay for our own healthcare will probably end up having to pickup the tab.  So, I propose that everyone out there who hates the rich quit their jobs and go get one from a poor person.

What’s sad is that more people in this country are shocked and horrified about the revelation that American Idol is fixed. More people are outraged that America won’t get to choose the top four on American Idol, but they are not outraged that the man they have chosen to be president is spending this country into the ground. Or that Barney Frank and his wealth envy crew are on a mission to “recover” bonus money from AIG executives.

Maureen Dowd says that the teleprompter is being pretty tough in Washington of late.

The Politico Whiteboard has a question today: Can Obama talk about anything other than AIG? I guess that depends on whoever is responsible for putting the words for Obama to say on the teleprompter.

With all this brouhaha in Washington right now over AIG bonuses, Chris Dodd is trying to undo the very executive compensation restrictions that he fought for in the economic stimulus bill.

Is Obama really going to yank the VA health benefits from our veterans? I guess if anyone would, this would be the guy.

A number of AIG executives are now resigning, thanks to the circus in Washington. They will be going to work for companies not under the thumb of Barney Frank.

What do companies like Intel and Lockheed Martin have to say about Barack Obama’s policies? Something to the effect of “are you freaking serious?”

What is the actual cost of Barack Obama’s plan to turn healthcare over to the government? Try $1.5 trillion over the next decade.

Reason Magazine explains how our government is stimulating us to death.

Remember when Barack Obama promised that his stimulus plan was going to save Caterpillar from laying off workers? Unfortunately that didn’t turn out as he planned.

Guess what Americans aren’t buying … hybrid cars. But guess what politicians are forcing the car companies to produce .. hybrid cars. This is not how supply and demand works.

The AFL-CIO has promised RINO Arlen Specter that if he votes for this card check bill, they would help him survive his re-election. Yeah, no kidding. Will Specter cave? Does a hog love slop?

Do you want your healthcare system to be described as “third world”? Well then take a look at what is happening with Britain’s National Health Service.

Here’s some more comforting news. Russia has decided that it is going to rearm itself. Are they doing this because they recognize weakness in our current president?

Did you hear that liberal bloggers, political reporters, magazine writers, and policy wonks have an off-the-record online meeting space called JournoList?

Sheriff Joe out there in Maricopa County, Arizona says that there is no way in hell he is going to testify before a congressional committee about his alleged immigration enforcement abuses.

Rep. Corrine Brown of Florida just has to be one of the most braindead people in Washington. Here’s her latest speech she gave on the House floor. I want to “gradulate?” “Okahoma?” “Coarch?” “Gusty play?” This is how they waste our time in Congress?

AIG hands out bonuses to the dismay of government

March 16th, 2009 2 Comments »

The big story this weekend  was AIG handing out bonuses.   AIG has received three government bailouts totaling $180 billion. But yesterday, the company paid out $165 million in bonuses to employees.  AIG handing out these bonuses has Obama and his government goons boxers and thongs in a bunch.  Of course though,  politicians don’t get irate when millions of dollars are spent by government on blueberry research, lobster farms or the study of the odor from a pigs ass (would that be Barney Frank’s ass?) .. but let the private sector pay that type of money pursuant to a contract and all hell breaks loose.

Hey Barney, you fat slobbering pig… some taxpayers out here might want to know whether some of the pork you clowns throw around to buy votes is legally recoverable as well.  Maybe someday you’ll get enough balls and admit that you were to blame for this economic mess and pay the taxpayers back you fat son of a bitch.

AIG Chairman Edward Liddy says that “the firm was legally obligated to make already-committed 2008 employee-retention payments, the value of which were set early last year before problems at its Financial Products unit became public.”

The facts are that government can seize and spend as much as it wants where it wants and when it wants. The private sector? Not so much.   My question is why do citizens who fail in life get rewarded?  Have eight kids and get rewarded with welfare checks to support the little bastards.  Oh yeah, just keep screwing and spitting out more kids and we’ll keep printing checks for you.  And on top of that Congress is giving themselves a raise for failure this year.  These politicians need to shut the hell up and quit whining like a bunch of babies.

AIG bailout bio

March 4th, 2009 Comment On This Post

After reporting a $61.7 billion quarterly loss – the biggest single quarter loss ever – in early March AIG asked for and was granted an additional $30 billion from the federal government. The following day Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke expressed his anger at the way the company had exploited loopholes to get into its current financial situation.    According to Bernanke, “A.I.G. exploited a huge gap in the regulatory system. There was no oversight of the financial products division. This was a hedge fund, basically, that was attached to a large and stable insurance company.” And this quasi-hedge fund, Mr. Bernanke went on, to nobody’s surprise, made irresponsible bets and took huge losses.

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) is a holding company which, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in a range of insurance and insurance-related activities in the United States and abroad. AIG’s primary activities include both General Insurance and Life Insurance & Retirement Services operations. Other significant activities include Financial Services and Asset Management. AIG’s major product and service groupings are General Insurance, Life Insurance & Retirement Services, Financial Services and Asset Management. Through these operating segments, AIG provides insurance, financial and investment products and services to both businesses and individuals in more than 130 countries and jurisdictions. In September 2008, AIG sold its 50% stake in London City airport. In December 2008, AIG’s United States life insurance companies sold its residential mortgage-backed securities portfolio to Maiden Lane II LLC. The company was founded in 1967 and is based in New York, New York. According to Fortune 500’s annual list, AIG was the 13th largest of all corporations in America in 2008, and was the 2nd largest among property and casualty insurance companies that year.

In late November 2008, AIG announced its participation in the Treasury Department’s Troubled Assets Relief Program (TARP). Under the program AIG received $40 billion from Treasury in exchange for preferred stock and warrants. Only Bank of America and Citigroup have received more money from TARP.

A recent analysis by the group tasked with overseeing the use of TARP funds, the Congressional Oversight Panel (COP), concludes that AIG received much more in federal government support than the initial $40 billion infusion. According to the report (.pdf – table, p. 7), the government received AIG assets worth only $14.8 billion – a 63 percent subsidy based on the government’s $40 billion payment to the company. Separately, AIG received $110 billion in support from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Recently the company withdrew as a member of the U.S. Climate Action Partnership, a group pushing for implementation of a cap and trade system to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Critics said the company should not be using taxpayer money to advocate public policy. The company also will let expire its sponsorship of British soccer powerhouse Manchester United. Under the deal, AIG reportedly paid about $19 million per season to have its logo on the team’s jersey.
