This election year has probably been the most pathetic elections ever! The Democrats started off the year attacking the Republicans on the War in Iraq and then all of a sudden the strategy changed when the economy went in the tank and started blaming the Republicans for not having enough regulations in the banking industry. Then the Republicans blamed the Democrats, escpecially Clinton for allowing the banking industry to be more lax on credit scores and allowing people who really couldn’t afford a home to purchase homes. But in reality it was a combination of bad decisions by the people who bought homes they couldn’t afford, Americans racking up credit card debt, banks loaning out the money, wall street trading bad home loans like it was stock and both Democrats and Republicans for protecting Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which had spent nearly $200 million on lobbying and campaign contributions.
But then the government, both Democrats and Republicans, decided that the taxpayers should start bailing out all these bad decisions. There was President Bush and Nancy Pelosi standing side by side shoving that bailout bill down our throats, a bill containing loads of pork. Sponsor:Rep. Patrick Kennedy [D-RI]show cosponsors (274).
Not only did this bill contain pork but the original house bill was introduced under a different name: Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008, also called the Paul Wellstone Mental Health and Addiction Equity Act of 2008. Mar 5, 2008: This bill passed in the House of Representatives by roll call vote. The totals were 268 Ayes, 148 Nays, 13 Present/Not Voting. View Votes (House of Representatives roll no. 101.)
The bill was never approved by the Senate in this form. It was later co-opted by the Senate as the “vehicle” for the quick passage of the economic stimulus bill, by replacing the entire text of the measure with the stimulus bill. You see how dirty these bastards are! Americans always bitch about politicians, but they seem to think that the politician that represents them isn’t the dirty pig, but the truth is: THEY ARE! If you vote straight line Democrat or Republican, you are screwed up in the head and you’re going to keep messing the country up as long as you keep voting the way that you do. To be honest with you, this year, when I vote, I am NOT voting for any incumbents because they don’t deserve the vote.
Then Obama and the Democrats suggested another stimulus bill, yeah, like the first stimulus bill really helped. People just ended up saving that money and not spending it. And then McCain came up with a solution of using $300 billion to help homeowners with their mortgages. This is all about creating more government and more government spending. What the hell, does our government think that we’ll just print more money? We owe China and Japan over $1 trillion dollars in loan on top of the hundreds of billions of dollars that we owe other countries.
Then there was the vote on FISA reform this year which passed by a landslide. And by the way, the Liberals beloved Barack Obama voted aye for it! Jun 20, 2008: This bill passed in the House of Representatives by roll call vote. The totals were 293 Ayes, 129 Nays, 13 Present/Not Voting. View Votes (House of Representatives roll no. 437). Jul 9, 2008: This bill passed in the Senate by roll call vote. The totals were 69 Ayes, 28 Nays, 3 Present/Not Voting. View Votes (Senate roll no. 168).
Then the talk about universal healthcare! If you bother to read and do research on countries who have socialized healthcare, you’d see that it just isn’t working! Even Massachusetts healthcare system is bankrupting the state. The state has had to raise its spending estimates on the healthcare program from $472 million to $625 million and from $725 million to $869 million for next year. That is almost double of what they had expected. The newly government-insured people are having a hard time finding a primary care physician. And the number of low-income residents using the emergency room for non-emergency care has actually risen since this program went into place. And then there is Medicare which is slashing hospital payments for medical mistakes resulting in patient harm and higher costs to the sprawling federal health plan for the elderly and disabled. And where the hell do you think that we are going to get the money for universal healthcare? Make everyone pay a 75% income tax? Besides, healthcare isn’t a right, it is a service performed by another individual on an individual!
Then there is the Republicans and god. My suggestion to the Republicans on religion, quit while you are not ahead. When you bring up god in your speeches you look like a freak! There is no god that tells you to do something, you control your thoughts and decisions, not some non existent deity! Nobody needs Jesus in their life. I’m a former alcoholic and I didn’t need to goto church and find god to fix my problem, I did it on my own. Now I nearly killed myself when I learned my lesson, but, the point is I didn’t need some touch of faith to figure out that I needed to stop doing what I was doing.
How about the Internal Revenue Service? What a freaking joke that is. Once again, another branch of government that is just about worthless. Our tax code is currently 60,000 pages long and the current tax system is actually more regressive than progressive. It is also not friendly to business, which is why corporations are being moved overseas which is causing a loss of jobs. Corporations are running to countries with low corporate tax rates or flat tax rates. One question I would like answered is why should someone who is a high achiever have to pay more to support low achievers who are not willing to make their lives better? We need a simpler, fairer and more transparent tax system. Which most members of both parties are not willing to budge on because if you remove the IRS you are removing the government out of our lives.
There is currently a bill in the house and senate to simplify our tax system and get rid of the IRS, it is called the Fair Tax Act.
Do you know what the FairTax Act is?
* Ensures Social Security and Medicare funding
* Enables workers to keep their entire paychecks
* Enables retirees to keep their entire pensions
* Refunds in advance the tax on purchases of basic necessities
* Allows American products to compete fairly
* Brings transparency and accountability to tax policy
* Closes all loopholes and brings fairness to taxation
* Abolishes the IRS
For more information visit www.fairtax.org.
Finally, there is the forced government take over of our financial system. Our government basically told these banks either you sell to us or your done! Federal officials set conditions, telling the banks they could not raise their dividends without government permission and could not offer their executives new retirement packages, though the old packages would remain intact. There is a risk that banks will take the new government capital and use it to bolster their balance sheets but still not resume lending, and the Treasury is not getting any specific contractual guarantee to prevent that from happening.
So as you can see, government is not the answer, we need less government intervention and allow people and corporations to make mistakes and fix them on their own. But both parties are for more government, it’s just that the Democrats want to get there faster than the Republicans. We need to start being smart about who we are voting for and looking at other parties like the Libertarian party and Independents. We can no longer let these two parties run this great country of ours into the ground. We still have the opportunity to vote and make better choices for our country, so just remember that when you goto the polls this Nov. 4th. And instead of voting for every Democrat or every Republican think about what has happened this past year and their betrayal to the American people.

I sat down last night to watch some Olympic coverage. First up in the lineup was synchronized diving. I was getting into it until I realized that the commentators were idiots and I was ready to stop watching altogether just because of them.
I can hear you asking me, “But Kevin, what could they have possible said that was so bad?”
It was ridiculous just how much they were kissing the Chinese divers’ asses. I mean come on now people. The Americans would get criticized badly for their minor mistakes but the Chinese would get praised regardless of what they did.
At one point the female commentator (whose name I don’t care to know) actually said (and I’m paraphrasing) - the Chinese had a few minor mistakes but they are just so great that it was a great dive.
I don’t remember her exact words but the point she was making is that since they are great divers they can do no wrong. Well hell, let’s just forgo the competition and give them gold since they are so great and completely infallible.

A conservative group is warning parents about a bill under consideration in the California state Senate that requires public schools to have an official “Gay Day.”
Oh dear, a group of religious freaks are going crazy over celebrating Harvey Milk who was the first openly homosexual person to be elected to public office in a major U.S. city. He was a former San Francisco Board of Supervisors member, who was assassinated by a former Board of Supervisor in 1978. Let’s see here, don’t religious freaks celebrate someone who allegedly existed, I don’t know, several times a year. They have Christmas, Easter, Ash Wednesday and Passover. Am I missing any other “Holy” days? So why can’t we celebrate someone who was gay and ACTUALLY contributed something to society?

House Majority Whip James Clyburn, a Democrat from South Carolina, says that climate change is now an issue of race. Seriously, I’m not making this shit up. Just remember people, this is the type of idiotic mentality that is running our country or actually ruining it also.
“It is critical our community be an integral and active part of the debate because African-Americans are disproportionately impacted by the effects of climate change economically, socially and through our health and well-being,” House Majority Whip James Clyburn, D-S.C., said July 29.
This came after a report by the Environmental Justice and Climate Change Initiative (EJCC), which claims African-Americans are more vulnerable to the effects of climate change.
Here is what the report says on how it affect African-Americans:
African-Americans are significantly more vulnerable to its effects than non-Hispanics. Health, housing, economic well-being, culture, and social stability are harmed from such manifestations of climate change as storms, floods, and climate variability. They are also more vulnerable to higher energy bills, unemployment, recessions caused by global energy price shocks, and a greater economic burden from military operations designed to protect the flow of oil to the U.S.
I’m going to blame global warming for all my failures in life. It was just to hot out and my brain freaking melted. I couldn’t think properly! Come on! This is so freaking ridiculous, when is this nonsense going to end? Are blacks paying higher gas prices than us white folks or Hispanics? This is such bullshit. When is the freaking crying going to stop! I’m so damn tired of everyone claiming that they are a victim when they are actually a victim of their own personal bullshit.
You have got to read the rest of this bullshit story.

The public-corruption investigation that paralyzed Cuyahoga County government Monday unraveled the political and business ties of the county’s most powerful and colorful players: Commissioner Jimmy Dimora and Auditor Frank Russo.
The federal investigation centers on allegations that they traded jobs and contracts for thousands of dollars of free improvements to their homes and properties.
This is the true face of government. A bunch of power hungry, ego maniacs, who do not want to serve your best interest, but to serve their best interests: votes, power and money. When I lived in Cleveland, you would see Frank Russo County Auditor picture on every freaking gas pump in the county. I think that this story is funny as hell considering his accomplice is named Jimmy Dimora, sounds like some damn mafia gang leader to me.
The duo built a Democratic machine by hiring friends and allies, which is the subject of a continuing Plain Dealer(Cleveland newspaper) investigative series. And the two have helped the party control every elected office in the county for decades, partly through Dimora’s role as county Democratic Party chairman. Dennis Kucinich is also the Representative of this county, you know the guy that wants to impeach George Bush.

The CBO says the home loan bailout could cost $25 billion. But, some analysts think the mortgage bail-out that Bush is going to sign this week could cost $300 billion. Would they be doing this bail-out during an election year? This is just another way for politicians to buy votes.
Who are these people who are going to be bailed out?
* People who knew they were buying more house than they could afford, and who thought that they would be bailed out by rising equity.
* People who got home loans in spite of bad credit ratings … loans spurred by media and government anguish over the unavailability of home loans to bad credit risks.
* People who bought the house, took out the loan, and moved on in knowing full well that they wouldn’t be able to make the payments when the interest rates went up.
So, what would cause mortgage lenders to give loans to low income families? A dozen or so years ago almost every major newspaper in the country was running investigative reports on the mortgage business. These reports told us that these mortgage companies were not doing enough to bring the American dream of home ownership to poorer people. The mortgage lenders were using criteria such as income, job stability, credit ratings and loan-to-value ratio to keep lower income people from purchasing homes. You know, people that really couldn’t afford a home. But, before the feds stepped in and made them do it – the mortgage lenders started lending to people that should be renting. And so now the 95% of the people in this country with home loans that are making those payments each and every month have to pay the price for the irresponsibility of people who shouldn’t have purchased a home in the first place, the banks who knew these people couldn’t afford a home and the feds for sticking their noses where they shouldn’t. That being said, I think 95% of people in this country paying their mortgage is pretty good. The other 5%, well, I guess there is a price for taking out the garbage.

In a huge document released last Friday, the EPA lays out the thousands of carbon controls with which they’d like to shackle the whole economy. Central planning is too artful a term for the EPA’s nanomanagement. Thankfully none of it has the force of law — yet. However, the Bush Administration has done a public service by opening this window on new-wave green thinking like Mr. Gore’s, and previewing what Democrats have in mind for next year.
Let’s take a look at what these goons want to regulate:
The EPA is alarmed by “enteric fermentation in domestic livestock” you know, their “emissions.” A farm with over 25 cows would exceed the EPA’s proposed carbon limits. So would 500 acres of crops, due to harvesting and processing machinery.
The EPA would regulate “farm tractors” too, plus “lawn and garden equipment.” For example, it “could require a different unit of measure [for carbon emissions] tied to the machine’s mission or output — such as grams per kilogram of cuttings from a ’standard’ lawn for lawnmowers.”
The EPA has new mandates for everything with an engine. A bunch of new auto regulations are in the works. Increasing fuel-efficiency standards well beyond their current levels, and even controlling the weight and performance of cars and trucks. Carbon rules are offered for “dirt bikes and snowmobiles.” Even NASCAR! Now wait a minute. The increased fuel efficiency standards are fine with me, that helps us at the pump. But NASCAR! What are they going to do? Put catalytic converters on the cars? Make them use 4 cylinder engines with higher fuel efficiency? You can’t do this to NASCAR! I will not allow this to happen! Dale Earnhardt Sr. is probably turning in his grave right now!
The EPA has new rules for how aircraft can taxi on the runway. Guidelines are proposed for boat design such as hulls and propellers. “Innovative strategies for reducing hull friction include coatings with textures similar to marine animals”. They also suggest “crew education campaigns” on energy use at sea.
New or modified buildings that went over the emissions limits would have to obtain EPA permits. This would cover power plants, manufacturers, etc. It would also include “large office and residential buildings, hotels, large retail establishments and similar facilities” like schools and hospitals. The limits are so low that they would apply to “hundreds of thousands” of sources.
The EPA also may consider deeper reductions through a cap-and-trade program. The EPA thinks it can levy a carbon tax too, as long as it’s called a “fee.” The EPA wants to impose this bullshit fee because Congress hasn’t been able to enact it through government debate.
This is it people, the EPA is going to tell you when, where and how long you can fart and breathe. Hell, they’ll probably levy some damn oxygen tax, regulating how much oxygen we are using.
But before this happens, I’m going to make sure I spew as much CO2 into the atmosphere. SUCK MY FUMES PEOPLE! TAKE IT ALL IN AND YOU WILL ENJOY IT! HAHAHAHAHA!

Inflation is up this year and most of it is due to rising fuel costs. Americans are hurting when they goto fill up the tank in there car and when they go shopping. Check out this article I read from Clark Howard’s website about purchasing private label products:
Procter & Gamble raising prices by 16%
If you’ve looked at the prices of diapers and formula lately, you’re apt to start crying like a baby. Many manufacturers have been passing costs on to consumers for the past few months. Now comes word that Procter & Gamble is bumping up prices by as much as 16% on brands like Tide, Ivory, Gillette shaving cream, etc.
That means there’s never been a better time to try off-brands or store brands; in many cases, the quality of the product is just as good. For example, there’s little difference between cheap and costly shampoos.
In his TV work, Clark once interviewed a professor who chemically analyzed different shampoos and confirmed their sameness. Conditioner, however, is a different story. So if you must blow money, buy a cheap shampoo and splurge on a nice conditioner.
But Clark’s message stands: Ignoring store brands is risky for your wallet. You could save between 30% and 60% by going the generic route.
I have to admit that I do buy private labeled products from Wal-Mart (Great Value Brand) and Costco’s(Kirkland Signature). The prices are significantly cheaper than name brand items. What I also like to do is buy in bulk from Costco’s because you don’t have to shop as much then and over time you are actually saving money.
You should try to visit his website, he has great information and you can also listen to him over the web from 1-4 EST Mon-Fri. www.clarkhoward.com

A reader recently sent me an article on the Libertarian party, it’s growth and how it affects the Presidential election. Also in the article it shows that Libertarians are basically all over the map on issues. Here is an excerpt from the article:
What do Libertarians believe?
As befitting a party with the word “liberty” embedded in its name, Libertarians prize individual freedom above all, and believe that government should play the smallest possible role in the economy and in people’s lives. “Think of us,” the Libertarian Party declares on its official website, “as a group of people with a ‘live and let live’ mentality and a balanced checkbook.” Though their symbol is the Statue of Liberty, Libertarians also identify with the porcupine, whose prickliness underscores one of their favorite mottoes, “The right to be left alone.”
As I read through this article: Briefing: The rise of the Libertarians and I decided that I would list what I support:
I support the Bill of Rights: One thing that I feel really strong on is separation of church and state. I can’t stand when these politicians get involved with religious communities. I can’t stand that “In God We Trust” is on our currency. I can’t stand when they sing “God Bless America” during the 7th inning of baseball games. It’s a nice song, but I’m just not down with it. And I cant stand “One nation under god” in the Pledge of Allegiance. Did you know the Knights of Columbus in New York City felt that the pledge was incomplete without any reference to a deity. Appealing to the authority of Abraham Lincoln, the Knights felt that the words “under God” which were from Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address were most appropriate to add to the Pledge. In New York City on April 22, 1951, the Board of Directors of the Knights of Columbus adopted a resolution to amend their recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance at the opening of each of the meetings of the 800 Fourth Degree Assemblies of the Knights of Columbus by addition of the words “under God” after the words “one nation.”
I support gay marriages and adoption. I just blogged about this so need to explain.
I support abortion rights: It’s a nice population controller, plus, I feel that teenagers have no business having babies due to maturity reasons. Also if a woman was raped and she becomes pregnant with that monsters baby.
I support euthanasia which would allow a person to end their life in dignity after having received every available type of medical care and their condition has not or will not improve.
I am not much of a supporter on medical research on finding cures for cancer, AIDS and etc. I do support privately funded but not government funded research. I just recently post an article on the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research because ESPN runs this once a year. But, I feel that we need disease as a population controller. I consider my self “pro-death”.
I support to abolish the IRS for a simpler tax system. When we pay income tax, we are basically being forced to pay for someone who doesn’t want to be responsible for their life. I believe that we should not be taxed on our incomes, but on goods and services. Think about it for a second. Say for instance we had a 23% tax on goods and services. Well, wealthy people buy more and expensive items, so they will be the ones that get hurt the most in paying the tax. Also, we have approximately 12 million illegal immigrants who live here in the U.S. and do not pay tax. Well, they will have no choice in paying tax now since it will be on consumables. Visit www.fairtax.org.
I support the “War on Terror”. I’ll tell you what, most Americans don’t think that terrorism is a major issue. Well, when the day comes when they bring a nuke up in here, it’s going to make for a far worse day than 9/11. Whatever city gets hit with it, you are gonna see hundreds of thousands of Americans looking like fried chicken running around. And that’s because we have failed to acknowledge that there is a radical Islamic movement that hates us. It’s all about some stupid ass religion. I’d rather get shot in the head and robbed by some scum bag than die at the hands of some stupid ass religious martyr. I refuse to die for anyone’s freak ass religion.
I do not support the “War on Drugs”. It wastes $46 billion a year on taxpayer money. I’m a proponent of decriminalizing drugs and offering non-violent drug offenders rehabilitation. Hell, I’m all for legalizing and regulating drugs. The U.S. actually condones idiocy and I’m all for it. Go ahead and do your coke, heroin, meth and etc. Just don’t be bringing that shit out of your home or in front of kids. It’s just like don’t drink and drive. Kill yourself with it for all I care, we need population reduction anyways. Marijuana definitely needs to get legalized. More and more states are starting to decriminalize it. I feel that alcohol abuse is more devastating than being a pot smoker. I was never big on the old pot, but I drank, believe me I drank myself close to death.
I support education vouchers for our children. Our kids should have the choice of what school they want to attend. This should not be handled by the federal government. This should be handled by state and local governments.
I do not support a universal healthcare system. Socialized healthcare systems that exist are all failing. The taxpayers of these systems feel the pain from this. Also, you do not get the greatest healthcare in these systems, because there are not enough doctors to handle the influx of people coming in. So you get long waiting lines for medical services. People need to start putting money into Health Saving Accounts.
I do not support in having many entitlement programs. I understand people do lose jobs, people become disabled and they do need help. But there is a huge portion of Americans out there who abuse these systems and refuse to apply or reapply themselves to take responsibility of their lives.
I support legalizing prostitution. You make them take a test for disease every week and you make them pay income tax. If we had the fair tax, then it would be alot easier to collect taxes from them.
I support reduction of immigration to the U.S. We are the only country in the world that allows the type of immigration we do. We immigrate over 1 million people a year. We need to have stricter laws on illegal immigrants also. Illegal immigrants are invaders not citizens.
I support privatizing Social Security. Social Security is bankrupt and when I retire in 33 years I will never see it. We need to have personal retirement accounts. America, it’s time to start saving and stop spending. We need to become savers. The way that private Social Security would work is that the Government would force employers to offer basically almost a 401k type plan where you are forced to put a certain percentage of income into this retirement account, you pick what you want to invest in and that’s it, the money is YOURS! It doesn’t go into a big pot, where everyone is putting their grubby hands into.
I JUST WANT THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE!

Advocates for gay and lesbian families are denouncing Sen. John McCain, an adoptive father himself, for opposing adoptions by gays, which prompted his presidential campaign to clarify Tuesday that he does not seek a federal ban on the practice.
Well at least he is not seeking a federal ban. The only state that does not allow gay adoption is the state of Florida. I have no problem with gays adopting a child. I would rather have a gay married couple adopt and raise a child than let some punk ass teenager raise the kid into a thug. Besides that, generally, teens mommy and daddy end up raising the kid. I feel that gay couples can give the same amount of love, if not more, than a heterosexual couple. The whole thing with people who are against gay marriage and adoption is because of religious morals. And I’m not down with religion. There is so much hypocrisy with religion, especially in Christianity. How can you judge someone when Jesus(who allegedly existed) was judged? According to the Walt Disney Tale, he was beatin to a pulp and then crucified.
Anyways, I’ve seen how parenting is these days and it is just absolutely horrible. Alot of people just have no freakin’ clue on what they are doing. They think that they’re supposed to be friends with their kids. Umm, NO! You need to show that kid who is boss. More parents need to be nosy peckers in their kids lives. Just like Obama said “Parents if you don’t parent, we can’t improve our schools,” he said. “You’ve got to parent. You’ve got to turn off the television set in your house once in a while, you’ve got to put the video game away once in a while.” Now I don’t know if he’s just saying this to attract voters or he really believes it, but it is right. You’ve got to show authority or they will never respect you. Do you know what respect is, respect is when your child says “I hate you!” Congratulations, you’ve done your job.
