How To Lower Unemployment

Come on people is it really that hard to figure out how to lower unemployment?

Lowering taxes
Deregulation of industry
Cutting government spending

All of these will increase jobs

In short, we need LESS GOVERNMENT. Obama wants to push more government down our throats and increase spending. All of this increased spending is bankrupting our country.

An article over at Yahoo is exactly what I’ve been talking about for years.

Of course! Why didn’t I see that?

Before we go on, you are wrong. We already did the first two and doing the third will keep us in recession for years.

How about equal ratio taxes for all? Get rid of corporate loopholes, tax cuts for the rich, and offshore tax evasion. Maybe we wouldn’t go bankrupt then.

As for regulation…they are nothing but business laws, LAWS! The point of regulation laws is three-fold; to protect the people, to keep fair business practices, and give companies equal footing. Amazing, isn’t it? Those sound just like what laws are meant for as people.

But I guess if deregulation is good for business, then if we deregulate our theft, rape, and murder laws nothing bad could happen there, hmm?

As for government spending, I agree it needs to be cut. But cut what? We can’t cut road maintenance, socialist programs(yes they exist, just ask your local fire/policemen), and in a war(or 3) we can’t cut military spending.

Or maybe we can. Stop enforcing cannabis laws would boost business, both in rural and urban areas; closing a large portion of our external military bases would lower costs, but we do have to keep an eye on those pesky germans and japanese :-/ ; and if we invest in renewable fuels we’ll have more jobs tomorrow than we need today.

Let’s blame Obama for all the problems plaguing America. It’s not like he’s only been President for just a year. It’s not like we knew that government spending was running rampant for decades. It’s not like we deregulated businesses and this recession happened. It’s not like we need people who speak of solutions instead of spouting party values.

Maybe if we stop thinking of US and THEM we can get back to WE and OURS and America can be great again.
