We need to stop this porked out “stimulus” bill

Hello Intelligent Thinker,

Some HITM members have asked why they did not get a C.A.I.N. Alert before the House voted this week on a “stimulus bill”. The answer is that Speaker Pelosi already had enough votes to pass it. This is why she would not include any suggestions from the Republicans, and why NO Republicans voted for it.

I did not want to waste your time.

We can, however, influence the Senate because of the narrow margin of separation between the number of Democrats and Republicans.

I sent the following message to BOTH of my Senators and urge you to do likewise:

Dear Senator Chambliss (and Isakson),Please DO NOT VOTE “FOR” another irresponsible spending bill. Instead, please pass a “Three month TAX HOLIDAY” for a real economic stimulus.

Even if the Senate approves the spending bill with modifications, it will still have to go back to the House of Representatives and we will then contact our Member of Congress.
