Hi guys.
Question… We are small business owners (25 people). We pay a portion of our employees’ health premiums, however, they have to pay about 20% and also pay for their families. Our group health insurance premiums have gone up so high (60% as of Jan. 1) that several employees have found individual health plans that seem to have very similiar coverage and deductibles for alot less money. My question is; other than differences in coverage, what are the consequences for an employee switching from a group plan to an individual plan?
