Herman Cain wants you to join the Intelligent Thinkers Movement
INTRODUCTION
The voice of “we the people” has been hijacked by partisan politics, government bureaucrats, and the influence of money on elections and legislation. To take backour government, we must be able to un-elect members of Congress on a timely basis, and dramatically influence their decisions while they are in office.
Because of the proliferation of biased media reporting, gullible voters, and too many in Congress who willingly and intentionally make deceptive and misleading statements about proposed legislation, “we the people” must be able to provide succinct and intelligent feedback to Congress frequently and persistently. We can then hold them accountable intelligently at election time, which is our only leverage for holding their feet to the fire.
We don’t need all 306 million citizens to be successful. We only need 100,000 voters per Congressional district for them to “see the light”.
“We the people” can and will take back our government and the strategic direction of this Nation. It is our right and responsibility.
This is NOT a republican, democrat, libertarian, conservative, liberal, or progressives movement. This is a “we the people” movement.

C.A.I.N. Alerts
Citizen Activists Informed Network Alerts will be sent out periodically requesting you to respond to your congressman about a specific issue or legislation. The Alerts will be sent out by email and or phone. You will receive it by phone only if you are using the post card option.
We will keep the Alerts simple, which is the exact opposite of the legislative process. The Alerts will be activated at critical times in the legislative process, and on HITM key issues or related pieces.
Few legislative proposals move through Congress “clean”. They are usually a hodgepodge of proposals attached to major proposals using a procedural mechanism called earmarks. “We the people” never hear about most of these until after the fact, because they can not be easily explained in a media sound-bite.
This is why bad laws continue to get passed and federal spending has only an upward momentum.
To prepare for the Alerts you must do some homework. The common sense strategic principles on each key issue shown above are a start. Credible links to organizations which provide ongoing analysis of issues and related aspects are listed on the left of this page under “Intelligent Thinkers Allies”. You are encouraged to study their content from time to time.
In other words, check “stupid” at the door, because you just might learn something.

4% of GDP? What for?
Islamo Fascists aren’t a threat. Obesity, Car Accidents, Alcoholism, Suicides, Heart Disease are a threat.
It makes zero sense to spent billions of dollars a year on “homeland security”.

Right on Herman! Politicos and their lefty supporters know most people are busy working, running businesses and raising families. We have little time to police our leaders. But, we have to make time, look at the messes they have created, and continue to create!! Not even a “we messed this up” or “what were we thinking?”. If we don’t police them, imagine what’s coming next. Frogs, the water is getting hotter, but it ain’t from global warming. Let’s wake up, get in the politicians’ faces and turn over their tables if we have to. Jesus turned over tables in the Temple, after all.

I believe that it is time for “We the People” to stand up and demand our representives to earn their seats in office. The seduction of our elected officials has to stop… Power to the people not the washington d.c. elite. They want a raise well by god they should earn it by doing what the people demand and deserve. I’m ready Herman run again for office and you have my vote…

Do our state Representative and Senators have web sites like the US Representative and Senators to contact them? We need to start at home putting pressure on our local Representative and Senators to change state laws that will repeal the 16th, 17th amendments and set term limits that will get the attention of the US house an senate.

You claim to be the ‘Dean of the University of Common Sense’ - and from what I’ve heard from you personally you can lay some claim to that billing. My question is how does 4percent (heard from above) get listed on this blog. Common sense would tell you that the items he thinks are a threat are actually controllable by individual actions; whereas, Islamo-fascists are beyond the control of the average American. JOB - URINE TEST
(Whoever wrote this one deserves a HUGE pat on the back!)
Joe, the average worker says;
Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don’t have to pass a urine test. Shouldn’t one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their lazy butts, doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don’t. Hope you all will pass it along, though . . . Something has to change in this country — and soon!!!!!

I look forward to making a difference in the lives of people who will be faced with a changed America that is currently sinking into debt and Socialism. I am in the process of getting a book about Private Property Rights proof read by a friend from highschool. The book will include my grandfather and my wife’s grandfather battling eminent domain abuse. I have also included chapters on the FairTax, environmental extremism in the timber business, Democracy versus Republic, and the disaster in Zimbabwae under Mugabe’s leadership.

Your homepage is very unfriendly to those who want to sign up for the Intelligent Thinkers group. I have listened to you on the radio and just want to sign on. Every site I find with this name takes me to your home page and I see no way to sign on. I am of the senior generation. If I am having difficulty others may also be having difficulty.
