Bank of America willing to help 400,000 homeowners
I was listening to Clark Howard yesterday and he has found out that Bank of America, who recently bought out Countrywide, is going to rework mortgages for 400,000 homeowners in 11 states. The states are Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas and Washington. This is what these banks should have done in the first place. Not beg the governement, err, taxpayers for a bailout because they dished out sorry ass loans to people with a sorry ass credit history. Which the banks were actually forced into this situation by government: ACORN, CRA and Bill Clinton way back in the 90’s. Read the full story about Bank of America helping these homeowners.
