Council bans new fast-food outlets in South L.A.
South L.A. has put a ban on new fast food restaurants for one year with two possible 6 month extensions:
Councilwoman Jan Perry, who has pushed for a moratorium for six years, said the initiative would give the city time to craft measures to lure sit-down restaurants serving healthier food to a part of the city that desperately wants more of them.
So the nanny state has decided to keep the evil fast food restaurants out of South L.A. for one year to a maximum of two years. They decided to penalize businesses for people irresponsibly stuffing their fat faces. Has anyone ever held a gun to these people’s heads to eat everyday at these places? I don’t think so! Did these fat asses ever hear of the word EXERCISE? Yeah, exercise! You know you get your fat ass off the couch and jump on an exercise bike, go running or lift some freaking weights! It’s amazing how many Americans refuse to take any responsibility for their stupid ass decisions!
