European company EADS, parent of Airbus, wants to begin shopping the U.S. to buy-up manufacturers to produce commercial aircraft platforms. EADS wants to reduce its production of platforms and the declining dollar makes American companies attractive for purchase.

Big deal! So what if foreign multinationals buy up big in America now that the US dollar is becoming worthless. American multinationals have been doing exactly that same thing in other countries whenever the US dollar has been strong. What goes round, comes round.

The Fair Tax is a fart in the wind compared to these problems. Our economic problems are far more fundamental than the method of income taxation we are using. Our hand is being forced to replay the American Revolution if we want to regain the freedoms and liberties we once had, as well as the representation we expect from our government, but haven’t had in a long time. If your foundations are cracked and rotting, all the spackle in the world won’t fix it; you have to tear out the ruined structure and rebuild it from the base up.
