McCain says that he does not support gay adoption

Advocates for gay and lesbian families are denouncing Sen. John McCain, an adoptive father himself, for opposing adoptions by gays, which prompted his presidential campaign to clarify Tuesday that he does not seek a federal ban on the practice.

Well at least he is not seeking a federal ban. The only state that does not allow gay adoption is the state of Florida. I have no problem with gays adopting a child. I would rather have a gay married couple adopt and raise a child than let some punk ass teenager raise the kid into a thug. Besides that, generally, teens mommy and daddy end up raising the kid. I feel that gay couples can give the same amount of love, if not more, than a heterosexual couple. The whole thing with people who are against gay marriage and adoption is because of religious morals. And I’m not down with religion. There is so much hypocrisy with religion, especially in Christianity. How can you judge someone when Jesus(who allegedly existed) was judged? According to the Walt Disney Tale, he was beatin to a pulp and then crucified.

Anyways, I’ve seen how parenting is these days and it is just absolutely horrible. Alot of people just have no freakin’ clue on what they are doing. They think that they’re supposed to be friends with their kids. Umm, NO! You need to show that kid who is boss. More parents need to be nosy peckers in their kids lives. Just like Obama said “Parents if you don’t parent, we can’t improve our schools,” he said. “You’ve got to parent. You’ve got to turn off the television set in your house once in a while, you’ve got to put the video game away once in a while.” Now I don’t know if he’s just saying this to attract voters or he really believes it, but it is right. You’ve got to show authority or they will never respect you. Do you know what respect is, respect is when your child says “I hate you!” Congratulations, you’ve done your job.
