Flat screen TV’s are giving off greenhouse gases
Flat screen TV’s could have a greater impact on global warming than the world’s largest coal-fired power stations, scientists warn. A greenhouse gas called nitrogen trifluoride, used to make the TVs, is 17,000 times more potent than carbon dioxide. They say that the gas can remain in the atmosphere for 550 years and emissions of the gas are not restricted under the Kyoto protocol.
That’s nice, but I’m not giving up my TV. I’m going to spew as much CO2 into the atmosphere as I possibly can. What the hell isn’t dangerous to the environment? Are we supposed to live like cavemen? We are human beings and we are here to live and exist. If it means that we are going to kill everyone with CO2 emissions then so be it. This whole thing is such a joke and I’m tired of hearing about “global warming”.

“I’m going to spew as much CO2 into the atmosphere as I possibly can.”
Please, acknowledge that is a childish, temperamental statement. I’ll respect you more for admitting it, than hating you for saying it in the first place.
There’s a reason why everything is bad for the environment: Big business doesn’t care about anything except its bottom line. If it increases profits even slightly, it doesn’t matter if it absolutely devastates the environment and there’s a safe alternative available.

I’m betting that Al Gore isn’t going to give up the three giant flatscreens in his office. I don’t see him cutting back on riding in private jets or using as much energy in his mansion in a month as an average family home does in a year.
When the people who are telling me that it’s a crisis start acting like it’s a crisis, I may start taking them seriously.

What a damned self centered cry baby.
I WANT IT, I WANT IT, I WANT IT, I WANT IT, I WANT IT, I WANT IT, I WANT IT, I WANT IT, IT’S MINE, YOU CAN”T MAKE ME, AND I DON’T CARE!
Why? You really need to see who gets kicked off the island, on a big ass TV?
Dude, is your dick really that small you need to compensate?
