On June 24, 1974 an article in Time magazine was published. The article is called Another Ice Age?
In Africa, drought continues for the sixth consecutive year, adding terribly to the toll of famine victims. During 1972 record rains in parts of the U.S., Pakistan and Japan caused some of the worst flooding in centuries. In Canada’s wheat belt, a particularly chilly and rainy spring has delayed planting and may well bring a disappointingly small harvest. Rainy Britain, on the other hand, has suffered from uncharacteristic dry spells the past few springs. A series of unusually cold winters has gripped the American Far West, while New England and northern Europe have recently experienced the mildest winters within anyone’s recollection.
I don’t want to hear any bullshit about it being 34 years ago, because remember scientists already developed nuclear power in the 40’s and we put man on the moon in 1969. So they were intelligent enough to understand things back then. These people were not idiots.
As you read this article you will discover that all the items in this article 34 years ago nearly resembles all this crap that they are feeding us now. If you read everything I quoted out loud to someone they would surely think that you were talking about 2008 and not 1974. Environmentalists can kiss my “F’N” ASS! You people are so full of shit about humans causing global warming! Stop trying to use global warming and ice ages as scare tactics in order to politicize the environment and help the people who have something to gain financially.
Everyone needs to read the rest of this article from TIME’s official website.

Well it’s about freaking time somebody in Washington is stepping up to the plate. Rep. Barney Frank proposed that the US should stop arresting people who carry fewer than 100 grams of marijuana. The Massachusetts Democrat says that only the use and not the abuse of marijuana would be decriminalized if the resolution resulted in legislation. Abuse? Like alcohol isn’t abused? Well, I guess it’s a start though, we can’t get to picky. Check out what the DEA says on it’s website:
“Smoked marijuana has not withstood the rigors of science — it is not medicine and it is not safe. Legalization of marijuana, no matter how it begins, will come at the expense of our children and public safety. It will create dependency and treatment issues, and open the door to use of other drugs, impaired health, delinquent behavior, and drugged drivers.”
Drugged drivers? Like we don’t have drunk drivers or drunks causing delinquent behavior? Come on, this is just common sense. If you wanna smoke pot or do coke, that’s your deal. Government shouldn’t be telling you what to do with your body You make the decisions. You are responsible for you life. You pay the price for what you do. Just don’t be bringing that shit out of your home or in front of kids. It’s just like don’t drink and drive.

Dr. Arthur B. Laffer and Stephen Moore (economist and editorial board member of The Wall Street Journal) analyze the fifty states’ economic competitiveness against free-market principles and sixteen factors they identify as affecting a state’s competitiveness. In their study, “Rich States/Poor States: The ALEC-Laffer State Economic Competitiveness Index,” they include many different types of taxes, state debt, the quality of the state’s legal system, the state’s minimum wage, worker’s compensation costs, whether it is a right-to-work state and any recent tax policy changes.
Laffer and Moore also provide a “State Roadmap to Prosperity” in which they show how relatively low taxes and regulations give people more reasons to work, increasing incomes, investment and employment and bringing more people to the state.

Hillary Clinton is desperate to pay off her debt so she wants to have dinner with your ugly ass if you give her 5 bucks. She reported owing vendors $12 million. She raised $2.7 million from donors in June. Hell, I might be up for this. I’d even throw in an extra 5 bucks to watch her choke to death at dinner.
Here is her note:
Summer is a time for simple pleasures: family vacations, baseball games, and dinner out under the stars. At least it is if you aren’t running for president!
It sure is nice having a little more time on my hands, and I’d love to spend some of it with you. Would you like to join me for dinner?
During the campaign, I had the chance a few times to grab meals with supporters, but they were always rushed thanks to the frenetic pace of the campaign. This is my first chance to sit down and spend some real one-on-one time with you. If you enter today, we could be having dinner together soon!
Join me for dinner. Make a $5 contribution today.
My staff has been calling this my “retirement dinner” — not because I’m retiring, of course, but because we’re working on retiring the debt we owe to small vendors all over the country. Everyone who acts today will have the chance to join me — along with a guest — for a dinner to talk about whatever you’d like.
Let’s go to dinner! Every little bit helps, and even $5 can make a real difference. Contribute $5 now, and you and I could be enjoying a summer dinner together soon!
Join me for dinner. Make a $5 contribution today.
Thank you so much for all your wonderful support.
All the best,
Hillary Rodham Clinton

House Majority Whip James Clyburn, a Democrat from South Carolina, says that climate change is now an issue of race. Seriously, I’m not making this shit up. Just remember people, this is the type of idiotic mentality that is running our country or actually ruining it also.
“It is critical our community be an integral and active part of the debate because African-Americans are disproportionately impacted by the effects of climate change economically, socially and through our health and well-being,” House Majority Whip James Clyburn, D-S.C., said July 29.
This came after a report by the Environmental Justice and Climate Change Initiative (EJCC), which claims African-Americans are more vulnerable to the effects of climate change.
Here is what the report says on how it affect African-Americans:
African-Americans are significantly more vulnerable to its effects than non-Hispanics. Health, housing, economic well-being, culture, and social stability are harmed from such manifestations of climate change as storms, floods, and climate variability. They are also more vulnerable to higher energy bills, unemployment, recessions caused by global energy price shocks, and a greater economic burden from military operations designed to protect the flow of oil to the U.S.
I’m going to blame global warming for all my failures in life. It was just to hot out and my brain freaking melted. I couldn’t think properly! Come on! This is so freaking ridiculous, when is this nonsense going to end? Are blacks paying higher gas prices than us white folks or Hispanics? This is such bullshit. When is the freaking crying going to stop! I’m so damn tired of everyone claiming that they are a victim when they are actually a victim of their own personal bullshit.
You have got to read the rest of this bullshit story.

The Texas Medical Center spent nearly $1.6 million last year on lobbyists who helped to deliver an estimated $3 billion in federal funds — a return of about $1,900 for each dollar spent on influencing members of Congress and the Bush administration.
With about one-third of their budgets dependent on federal largesse, at least eight of the 46 hospitals and research institutions within the sprawling complex hired dozens of Washington lobbyists.
This is what our government has turned into. You give me money and I’ll get you what you need. You know, I’ll scratch your nuts if you scratch mine! Our government has become so corrupted by lobbyist groups its sick. We’re talking, environmentalists, oil companies, health care companies, labor unions and etc. This is the reason why we need term limits. We just can’t have these two idiot parties destroy this country for their own personal interests.

There is a great difference between free trade and fair trade. What William Jefferson Clinton signed on both NAFTA and the WTO were free trade agreements, there was never anything fair about it. Ask the more than 8.5 million people who are now unemployed in the U.S. whether it was fair.
When I wrote “The Biggest Lie Ever Believed,” I pointed out that a U.S. company cannot under any circumstances compete with labor that is being paid at 50 times less. You didn’t read that wrong, fifty times less.
Organizations such as NAFTA and the WTO endanger the future of America as U.S. companies cannot compete with nations who offer non-existent labor standards. Countries failing to offer their employees benefits with far lower rates-of-pay force Americans to practice the same standards, costing Americans jobs and a decent standard of living.
Some libertarians and small-government conservatives, such as Ron Paul and think tanks such as the Ludwig von Mises Institute oppose the World Trade Organization. The WTO is seen as a bureaucratic and anti-capitalistic organization not promoting free trade, but political interventionism. In the February 1994 issue of Free Market, the Mises institute argued that “The WTO will convert peaceful trade into policy imperialism. It will allow economic exchange with some countries under approved conditions, and impose a variety of sanctions on others. The conditions will include all the legislation beloved of U.S. left-liberals, such as preferences for labor unions, artificially high labor costs, controls on the organization of industry, high taxes on capital and income, central-bank inflation, invasive tax collection, and the abolition of financial privacy. The goal, as with NAFTA, is to transform every country, developed or developing, into a carbon copy of Clintonian social democracy.”

The public-corruption investigation that paralyzed Cuyahoga County government Monday unraveled the political and business ties of the county’s most powerful and colorful players: Commissioner Jimmy Dimora and Auditor Frank Russo.
The federal investigation centers on allegations that they traded jobs and contracts for thousands of dollars of free improvements to their homes and properties.
This is the true face of government. A bunch of power hungry, ego maniacs, who do not want to serve your best interest, but to serve their best interests: votes, power and money. When I lived in Cleveland, you would see Frank Russo County Auditor picture on every freaking gas pump in the county. I think that this story is funny as hell considering his accomplice is named Jimmy Dimora, sounds like some damn mafia gang leader to me.
The duo built a Democratic machine by hiring friends and allies, which is the subject of a continuing Plain Dealer(Cleveland newspaper) investigative series. And the two have helped the party control every elected office in the county for decades, partly through Dimora’s role as county Democratic Party chairman. Dennis Kucinich is also the Representative of this county, you know the guy that wants to impeach George Bush.
