Liberals and the idea of Marxism
I wanted to do some comparisons of Liberal thinking to other political ideologies. Here are the other political terms for Liberals: Democrats, Socialists, Progressives and Communists. Communists may seem like a harsh term but here is the definition: a socioeconomic structure that promotes the establishment of a classless, stateless society based on common ownership of the means of production.
Here were the ideas of Karl Marx:
* a belief that capitalism is based on the exploitation of workers by the owners of capital
* a belief that people’s consciousness of the conditions of their lives reflects the dominant ideology which is in turn shaped by material conditions and relations of production
* an understanding of class in terms of differing relations of production, and as a particular position within such relations
* an understanding of material conditions and social relations as historically malleable
* a view of history according to which class struggle, the evolving conflict between classes with opposing interests, structures each historical period and drives historical change
* a belief that this dialectical historical process will ultimately result in a replacement of the current class structure of society with a system that manages society for the good of all, resulting in the dissolution of the class structure and its support
It’s exactly how Liberals think. They think that capitalism is evil and with capitalism it creates classes in society. And that is wrong, people on their own make classes in society.
Next, take a look at Nazi Germany, the way Nazi’s built propaganda against the Jew, is the same way Liberals have built propaganda against Conservatives. The similarity is absolutely amazing:
According to Nazi propaganda, the Jews thrived on fomenting division amongst Germans and amongst states(classes). The Jews were also described as plutocrats exploiting the worker: “As socialists we are opponents of the Jews because we see in the Hebrews the incarnation of capitalism, of the misuse of the nation’s goods.”
The Nazis were a SOCIALIST DEMOCRATIC party and they hated the Jews because of their wealth. Hitler created this propaganda saying that Jews used capitalism to destroy Germany and to make them poor. He just couldn’t stand the fact that Jews were successful. Much like Liberal’s can’t stand the wealthy, the successful and are very hateful of America. If you hate America that much, then MOVE! Nobody is going to stop you and nobody is going to miss you. And don’t let the door hit you in your ass.

After reading this post, I figured you were just terribly misinformed and thought I’d respond and honestly set you straight. But when I read your 10 questions for liberals post, I realized that you’re too far gone to be reasoned with. You’re not interested in the truth about liberals - not even slightly.
All I can say is that if you really think we’re all communists and nazis, you should probably be glad we’re not gun nuts.

I don’t think ‘liberals’ hate the wealthy because of their wealth. Just like the terrorists don’t actually hate the US for it’s freedom. I think most ‘liberals’ dislike the wealthy because they use their power and privilege to unfairly game the system.

If you’re going to quote Wikipedia for the definition of Marxism, why not also quote Wikipedia for the meaning of liberalism:
“extensive freedom of thought and speech, limitations on the power of governments, the rule of law, the free exchange of ideas, a market or mixed economy, and a transparent system of government”
This explains how I can be a liberal, even with a six figure salary with a multi-national corporation, and a strong belief in market economics. So if you want to know what’s in the mind of this liberal, it’s this: how can you be so stupid as to confuse liberals (you know, as in liberty and freedom?) with Marxists (as in systems of control)?
The best theory I’ve got is that your own ignorance scares you, and leaves you screaming your fear into the Internet.

The real problem in America today are LIBERALS and the author is correct. But Liberals can’t accept the truth now can they ? That would destroy their values as “Progressives”.

I am a liberal and I think Capitalism is a great system. It promotes initiative, and intelligence. But since people are flawed, there have to be constraints, and laws to make sure that everyone functions within certain perimeters, so as to make it at least a level playing field. I personally don’t think the rich should be penalized for being rich. We should have a flat tax. Thats the fair way of doing it.
I have found that Conservatives never let the facts get in the way of their opinion. I constantly get crap through the internet, and when I go to an impartial site ie factcheck etc. and send the accurate information to the sendee, they won’t even consider that the information they recieved from a source with an agenda could possibley be telling lies. The Republican party are now using the very same tactics that the Natzi’s used against the Jews. Read the information on the 72-page Power Point presentation to the GOP fundraisers in Florida last month which included a direct call to exploit “extreme negative feeling” toward Democrats. The presentation depicted Pres. Obama as the Jocker, Nancy Pelosi as Cruella DE Vil and Harry Reid as Scooby Doo. I actually ran across this article while looking for the caricutures of the Jews put out by the Natzi’s leading up to the mass killing of them by the Natzis.
If you go far enough to the right you get Hitler. I am surprised that the author of this article didn’t call for the burning of books and jailing all of the intellectuals.
