We are losing precious time as each day passes by to become independent from foreign oil. If we announce that we will be drilling for our own oil, you will see a price decrease in gas. Even if it takes us several years to get the oil, it would still take years for the car manufacturers to get there automobiles ready for alternative fuels and to get public support for purchasing these vehicles. And you have to get the gas stations equipped with the proper pumps to support those fuels. I support alternative fuels and higher fuel efficient cars, but we need to act now and drill for our own oil. Link.
