I thought Government is supposed to protect it’s people
You have got to read this article about a government mandated law in Massachusetts. The state regulation mandates that heating systems in housing for the elderly must remain operational until June 15th. WHAT? That means no air conditioning until June 15th and they have been having 90 degree weather. At Seabury Heights Apartments, in Worcester, Massachusetts, the residents were complaining about no air conditioning. So they went through the motions of contacting every government agency all the way up to sending a letter to Senator Ted Kennedy(He’s a real piece of work too, he needs some of that Kennedy luck). Did the residents hear anything back from anybody? Nope. Story.
