Health Care reform

I completely oppose the idea of socialized health care. In 2005 we dumped $786 billion tax dollars, into medicare and medicaid alone. What do you think would happen if we gave everyone health care? Taxes would go up, economy will slow down even more and the country would most likely go bankrupt. We might print the money, but the Federal Reserve is still a bank and they want their money too. Another reason why to support The Fair Tax.

On top of all that, the government is going to tell you what doctor you can see and when you can see the doctor. Right now, you can go to the doctor whenever the hell you want.

Let me give you a real example(true story) of how bad socializing health care will be:

Two years ago, I was partying with several friends at a bar in Ft. Lauderdale and we were doing shots of tequila, patron to be exact. Now, I always have been a binge drinker(stopped that nonsense after what happened), but I’ve never done tequila and I had heard nightmare stories about that stuff. Anyways, I didn’t want to do it, but, I could say I fell to peer pressure, but I was 31 at the time so that’s no excuse. I chose to go ahead and down ten shots of tequila on top of two long island iced teas and a couple of beers. Anyways, to make this story short, I woke up in the hospital with a oxygen mask on and a tube shoved down my throat. Now, the first thing that I thought about when I woke up was “Holy shit this is going to be a big bill”. I did have insurance through my employer, but I knew that I was going to have to pay at least 10% of it. So, when I woke up, the nurse told me that I had come into the hospital not breathing, they had to put me in the emergency room and resuscitate me. My blood alcohol content was .280, .300 is death! They kept me over night too, so they charged me for two days at the hospital, I was so pissed that they kept me because I knew that this bill was getting bigger. Anyways, the total bill for everything, hospital, doctor, tests and ambulance was $15,000! For what? For being stupid!

Do you get my point? We will have to pay for some stupid ass like myself if we go to socialized health care! Do you wanna pay for someone being irresponsible?
