Democrats want to nationalize a hurricane tax
Well, the American Communist Party (Obama and Hillary supported this) and some of the Christian Conservative party, believes that government needs to step in and nationalize a huge part of the insurance business that covers major storm damage claims. What they want to do is create a taxpayer funded reinsurance program for all 50 states. A number of insurance companies and the state of Florida, go figure, are backing this proposal.
First of all I live in Florida with millions of other people. This is a choice that we have made to live in Hurricane Alley. So we want to punish, like say, the people in Ohio (I have friends and family there) so we can save $500 on annual premiums from our home owners insurance policy?
I’m telling you people, they keep adding social programs, they raise taxes, take more money out of our pockets which takes money out of the economy. It all goes hand in hand. This is socialism and this is how a country becomes poor. Like I said before in my article about the Oil Production Bill that the Democrats shot down, when they want money, they are after it, but when something as important as drilling for our own oil and lowering gas prices, they just shoot that down without hesitation.
America, quit paying attention to those freaks in Hollywood, turn off the TV, put down the People magazine, pick up a newspaper or get on the internet and get educated!
Besides that, where in the hell in the Constitution does it say they can come up with programs like this? This is a must read. Link.

you know, i agree with you on this- there’s no reason anyone else should pay for rebuilidng idiot’s houses for the ninth time. then again there’s no reason anyone should need to fund the military if they don’t want to, after all that would be communist taking cash from some people against their will and using it for something… or enforcing copyright/trademark laws, that takes money from other people too… in fact there’s a word for what you propose: social darwinism. doesn’t quite have the ring to it as conservatism does it?

How’s this for a tax: a tax to maintain at least a $4/gal floor on gasoline prices, as suggested by Thomas Friedman. No more cheap gas, ever again.
