(CNN) — Sen. Barack Obama said Saturday that he has resigned from the church where controversial sermons by his former pastor and other ministers created political headaches for his campaign.
“We don’t want to have to answer for everything that’s stated in the church,” the Democratic front-runner said. “We also don’t want the church subjected to the scrutiny that a presidential campaign legitimately undergoes.”
First of all I’m not an Obama supporter but it’s about damn time he got out of that church. No, I’m not just saying that because I am anti-religion (though I am), but if the guy wants to have any chance of becoming President he has to fully separate himself from that wacko Reverend Wright and that entire church. Controversy involving religion always gets the church goers up in arms.
Plus, how suspicious is it that after 20 years he decides to resign after all the controversy that came out and he does this in the middle of a presidential campaign run? Hmmmm.

The Rachael Ray story was a little over the top, because it was just a stupid scarf and no mention of Islam, but this is a little more dangerous. You also know my disgust with religion and the problems that I feel that it causes in society.
A government(public) school principal in Texas decided to take it upon herself to arrange a Council on American-Islamic Relations training session during class time after being told not to by the Superintendent of the district.
The Council of American-Islamic Relations is an organization whose leaders have been linked to terrorist groups. That’s wonderful!
People, this is called the infiltration of Islam into American society and it is so dangerous. These people will do anything they can to try and destroy our way of life and we can not allow this to happen! Story.

So a lot of Americans feel that we aren’t doing enough for the poor (boo hoo) and that we are spending to much on the War in Iraq. Well I have some absolutely staggering numbers for you and remember this is tax dollars coming out of your pocket from Federal, State, Local, Social Security and Medicare Tax that you pay:
In Fiscal year 2005
Social Security: 523.3 Billion Dollars
Health care (Medicare Tax and Medicaid which comes out of Federal Income Tax): 736.6 Billion Dollars
Welfare: 362.9 Billion Dollars
And this is what we spent on the military that year:
Armed Forces Spending: 495 Billion Dollars
From 2002-2005 we spent a total of 204 Billion on the Iraq war
Which comes to a staggering 1.621 TRILLION DOLLARS in social programs in one year! Thats right, $1,621,000,000,000.00 in social programs and only 495 Billion to protect our asses. The Iraq War cost 204 Billion after 3 years, not one year, but 3 years. That’s an average of 68 Billion a year.
WOW! We spent 736 Billion on health care, hell I’d hate to see that number if we had socialized health care, then again, we may have it already. And they say we aren’t spending enough on the poor people out there! Come on! This is money coming straight out of our pockets to help people that do not want to take any responsibility for anything. Then we wonder why the economy is so bad, it’s because we have to help the poor people, the so called less fortunate, whatever. I feel less fortunate because my money is being pissed away here!
Not only did we spend the 1.621 trillion dollars on social programs, but the entire Federal, State and Local Government spending for the year was 4.4 trillion, which says that we spent 37% of the budget on social welfare! If this does not scare you, then you are an ignorant idiot!
We are such fools, I just can’t believe that we are willing to pay into this, I mean what the hell is wrong with us. Can somebody please answer this question for me? Why would you be willing to pay higher taxes with your hard earned income for someone that wants to be lazy and let government handle everything for them?
Now I know that Medicare is there for retired people, but remember, we have baby boomers that will be retiring in a decade which is going to send that amount through the roof and on top of that Social Security will also be an incredible amount. I’m telling you right now, you better start making a nest egg for yourself, because only the savers are going to survive at the rate we’re going.

I know that we have got to get the cost of health care down here in the States and make it affordable. But for now we have to find cheap health care on our own which brings me to this little article that I had found today.
With the ever increasing health care costs here in the States, there is actually an alternative and it is called Medical Tourism. It sounds like a crazy idea, but this idea has had an increase of Americans going over seas to third world countries to have major surgeries done. That increase has been about 20% per year according to England’s Financial Times and it has been noted that the savings have been up to 75%! I think that this is definitely an interesting article and something to perhaps think about if you are planning on having a major surgery done. Link.

While people are dying and getting hurt in New York City, from cranes collapsing and all kinds of numerous building infractions, the Feds are in Weed, California fighting a small brewery about the use of the word “weed” on $10,000 worth of bottle caps. Is this for real?
People, I’m telling you the Federal Government has WAY to much power and it’s our fault. We pay to much attention to those freaks in Hollywood and treat them like they are some sort of god, while our Government is just doing bozo things right under our noses. It doesn’t matter who the President is, this is it, this is our Government.

A construction worker was killed when an Upper East Side crane collapsed in a thunderous tangle of steel Friday - one day after a stop-work order was lifted at the problem-plagued site.
The crane, from a high-rise under construction at 333 E. 91st St., rattled the block like an earthquake as it gouged a path of destruction down the building across the street shortly after 8 a.m.
Clearly this shows that the city workers and inspectors are all being paid off so the people running these construction sites don’t have to spend money on safe equipment.
It has to be scary for the people in New York because after 9/11 a crash like this has to send chills down people’s spines. This is why the bureaucrats and politicians and city workers who are all more concerned over the size of their bank accounts and not the welfare of the citizens need to be replaced.

First of all let me say this, I do not practice any form of religion because I feel that religion causes a lot of problems and harms others in society. Plus the fact that I just don’t believe.
Anyways, you have got to read about this sick freak and this ridiculous church. I was watching 48 hours the other night and they had a story on Warren Jeffs, a leader of the Mormon fundamentalist polygamist sect known as the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Now he took over after his father had passed away. His father had left behind 20 wives and 60 children. Under Federal Government law, these marriages were unlawful so everyone of these women are considered single mothers and guess what, they get to receive welfare from us tax payers. The amount of welfare for this year alone for these freaks will be $2.5 MILLION! What a waste of money. On top of that the land that this dude owns and where the church is located is worth $100 million.
Now my question is why doesn’t this joke of a church pay for these kids?

So apparently America’s favorite TV sweetheart cook, Rachael Ray, supports terrorism. She hates the US and will do whatever she can (including where a scarf showing her support of Muslim extremism and terrorism).
Come on now, are you freaking kidding me? Seriously, Rachael Ray is wearing a kaffiyeh to support terrorism? No, she isn’t.
Is it really that slow of a news day when someone mistakes a (somewhat ugly scarf) for terrorist garb? This is just another example of the right-wing extremists showing that if you don’t drink the Kool-Aid you are a terrorist supporter.

What is the Fair Tax? The FairTax plan is a comprehensive proposal that replaces all federal income and payroll based taxes with an integrated approach including a progressive national retail sales tax, a prebate to ensure no American pays federal taxes on spending up to the poverty level, dollar-for-dollar federal revenue neutrality, and, through companion legislation, the repeal of the 16th Amendment.
* Enables workers to keep their entire paychecks
* Enables retirees to keep their entire pensions
* Refunds in advance the tax on purchases of basic necessities
* Allows American products to compete fairly
* Brings transparency and accountability to tax policy
* Ensures Social Security and Medicare funding
* Closes all loopholes and brings fairness to taxation
* Abolishes the IRS
The Fair Tax Act was introduced into Congress in 2007 and it is a bill to replace the current complicated income tax code. This tax code was written by Congressman John Linder and Neal Boortz. It will help reduce Government power (gotta love that) and increase spending power for consumers and we all know Americans love to spend considering that Americans actually owe more money than they make.
The current tax code also has a hard time keeping people in compliance with the tax laws like tax evasion or illegal immigrants living and working here and not paying tax. The Fair Tax is a tax on all new goods and services. This is an absolute must that all Americans should get to know and understand what is involved in the Fair Tax, our future depends on it! Remember you should always do your homework!
This is a must read. Link.

As We The People of the United States, why don’t we start the process of destroying the Democratic (Communists) and Republican (Alleged Christian Conservatives)parties. Basically instead of Americans vs. Americans, it should be Americans vs. The Government. Americans need to get away from the political party bull crap and think for themselves, remember freedom involves personal responsibility and accountability. If you behave and take care of your own life you’ll reap the benefits, but if you wanna mess your life up and your families life then you have to be prepared to take it up the rear for your actions. Quit being lazy and crying to the government about how you can’t find a job or how can I afford health care. Well, don’t by the HDTV, the new car or quit having babies, it’s simple logic.
I support pro-choice, I support the legalization of all drugs, I am an atheist, I support warfare, I support the right to bear arms, remember guns don’t kill people, people kill people, ask OJ and Scott Peterson. I do not support socialized welfare or a socialized health care system or the fact that illegal aliens come in here get hurt end up at the hospital and not pay for the bill because they are not citizens they are invaders.
I hate Hollywood, these people are lower than rats, I don’t even look at them as being human beings. You never hear about celebrities helping Americans out, they are always going overseas adopting foreign kids or going to Africa to help the millions of AIDS victims, well you know what I say, THE HELL WITH THEM! BOO HOO! Let there government take care of their problems, its not our responsibility or our fault that their Government is so messed up. Even our own Government sends over billions of dollars in foreign aid which only adds to our national debt, we need to knock that crap off. Who helped us out after 9/11 or Katrina? There are plenty of kids here that need good homes or families that could use the help and schools in inner cities that can use the money.
I don’t care about anyone else’s problems but right here in the good ole USA! But our lives are going to change if we do not set our goals on putting a stranglehold on our own government. Part of the problem is that our schools do not even teach kids anymore about what this country was founded on and the will of those men who took on the British Empire to form the greatest country in world. People, we need to get back to basics here and it’s going to involve me and you making logical choices in our lives.
